Holy shit! Our first blog post. If I already lost you at the word "shit" well, you probably better walk away because I swear like a sailor at times. Not like, ALL THE TIME, but you know, when necessary. Necessary being all the time. Eff.
Well anyways, I haven't been able to write much since having kids so if I'm a little shabby, forgive me. Punctuation may be off, maybe some minor grammar issues...but please, be kind.
Now that I am a mother, I've always had dreams of becoming a blogger, or maybe even a columnist like Carrie on Sex & the City minus the really nice wardrobe and dysfunctional love life. So I'm like the newer version of Carrie. No longer smoking, constantly having her hair up in a bun and walking around in Victoria Secret Yoga pants everyday wondering where she left her cellphone. Usually it's right in her hand. Oh and she has two toddlers shoving empty sippy cups in her face screaming for juice, and a dog that has a limited amount of brain cells left. Also, she lives in Seattle. Also, she is a red head. Basically it isn't Carrie at all. Dammit.
Anyways.
As my first blog post I just want to send a shout out to all the ladies and gents in my parenting page crew. Y'all know who you are.
It's tough out there for a parent. Whether you are a mom, dad, grandparent, whatever. We all have our days. The ones filled with hair tearing, lip chewing, eye covering, foot stomping and finally defeat. Hence where my name for the blog came from. I know I have hit rock bottom when I scoop some cookies into my shirt, run up the stairs into my closet and shut the door. That is where I nibble and savor every bit of that marvelous morsel made from the heavens above.
AND GOD CREATED COOKIES.

But seriously. I used to feel overwhelmed by the amount of parenting pages and blogs out there. But I have found that each one of them has something that others don't....but together it's like some weird internet Transformer that comes together to help all. So...yeah. I'm not sure how I feel about that analogy but I'm just going to go with it. OBKB?
